Profile: Asymmetrical Twin

Terrain: Park/Resort/Pow

Response: Medium

The all new Benchwarmer is an aggressive twin shape suited to riders seeking hardpack performance in the park. The Benchwarmer offers Ride's most aggressive camber profile for the riders demanding a precise and crisp ride. The Benchwarmer is at home on the big line of the park and on firm snow. The Twin Hybrid Camber provides stability for jumping as well as aggressive high-speed turns. Asymmetric shaping improves heelside turn initiation and control with different radii for the heel and toeside edges. Carbon Array 3™ gives you extra pop without adding stiffness. New Carbon Slim Walls reduce weight, increase damping, increase energy transfer and enhance response stability and durability. The Benchwarmer is a performance-focused twin suited for intermediate to advanced riders looking for hard snow performance in a snappy, predictable twin shape.

Features:

Hybrid Glass: Triaxial on top, biaxial on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed.

Sintered Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.

Performance Core: High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.

Carbon Slimewalls: This totally unique sidewall combines layers of Slimewalls® material and carbon strategically placed at the inserts out to the contact points in the tip and tail on a twin, and the back inserts to the contact points in the tail on a directional board. This exclusive tech enhances the charging rider’s experience as we have moved the carbon pop construction to the outside edge for better stability and enhanced response.

Carbon Array Laminates: This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in two levels of technology, 3 & 5.

Impact Plates Laminates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.

Elliptical Progressive Sidecut: Designed exclusively for the Commissioner, this sidecut combines tight elliptical curvature at the tip and tail to provide low-speed initiation and response with a larger radial section between the feet for high-speed stability and tracking.

Slimewalls: RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

Topless Construction: By transferring graphics directly to the fiberglass, Topless Construction removes the need to have any topsheet material. This process improves overall durability and reduces weight.

Roll-In Construction: Unique 3D structure built around Ride's urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.

Thin Con: Each Ride board features Thin Construction with tapered tips and tails. This reduces swing weight, enhances tip flex, and improves overall durability.

Profile:

Hybrid Camber

Camber between your feet for precision and pop with rocker outside of your inserts for a catch free, float ready ride.

Shape:

Asymmetrical Twin

Asymmetrical boards offer an additional dimension to snowboard design. With a designated toe and heel edge, asymmetrical boards truly realize that your foot is definitely *not symmetrical*. The toe edge is generally slightly longer with a shallower, less aggressive sidecut and the heel edge is generally slightly shorter with a deeper, more reactive sidecut. This is all designed to minimize rider fatigue, while maximizing performance through easier, more natural feeling heelside turns for better response, better carving and more fun!

Flex:

6 - 8 (Scale 1-10)

Versatility at its finest. From the park to the peak and anywhere in between.

Base:

Sintered

High-end base material that is harder, more durable, and faster than extruded bases
